QEW Steering Committee Meeting, April 11-14 2019
Our Steering Committee meets to conduct business and plan for our future work, to meet Friends and enjoy fellowship with each other, and to share our stories and what is important to us. We invite friends from near and far to join our meeting. All Steering Committee members are encouraged to attend -- we welcome visitors for any or all of our sessions (an agenda will be posted soon).
Participants can begin arriving at the Twin Cities Friends Meetinghouse at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 11 and we will begin our general meeting at 3:00 pm. We will meet all day on Saturday and will end with 11 am worship and fellowship with Twin Cities Friends on Sunday, April 14.
There will be an optional field trip to Frogtown Farm, one of the largest urban farms in the country, in the heart of the diverse and vibrant Frogtown neighborhood of Saint Paul on Sunday afternoon, approximately 1:30-3:30. Frogtown Farm is a certified-organic urban demonstration farm that practices a permaculture approach, creating a regenerative system that builds soil rather than degrading it. It is a destination for those seeking learning, innovation, reflection, celebration, and authentic community.
Please register by March 15 to guarantee housing. Registration after March 15 is subject to space availability - please register and wait for QEW to contact you to confirm.
