Effective Action: How to Prepare for Spirit-led, Culturally Appropriate, and Effective Action at the Line 3 Camps Description

Participants will gain an understanding of nonviolent direct action as practiced at the Indigenous-led camps resisting Line 3. Through participatory exercises, we will explore Quaker practices for discerning how much risk we are led to take and what helps us stay grounded in tense circumstances. We will also discuss security culture and other aspects of camp culture that may be new to Friends. Offered by Eileen Flanagan on August 17, 7:30-9pm Eastern.
