QEW Steering Committee meeting, April 20-23 2017

Our Steering Committee meets to conduct QEW business and plan for QEW's future work; meet Friends and enjoy fellowship with each other; share our stories and what is important to us. Participants can begin arriving at the Atlanta Meetinghouse at 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 23, there will be a 3pm CCC meeting and committee meetings begin at 3:45. The Steering Committee sessions will end with 10 am worship and fellowship with Atlanta Friends on Sunday, April 26 (see full agenda). All Steering Committee members are encouraged to attend -- we welcome visitors for any or all of our sessions (an agenda will be posted soon).
Directions to the Atlanta Meetinghouse can be found at: http://atlanta.quaker.org/location.htm. The meetinghouse is a five-minute walk east of the East Lake MARTA station, E5 on the East Line. Exit the station by walking north over DeKalb (not College) Avenue on the pedestrian bridge, then proceed east along the sidewalk. The road (which soon changes names from DeKalb to Howard) should be on your right. You will cross Paden Circle, then Melrose, Drexel and Lansdowne Avenues before you get to the Meetinghouse.
If you are arriving by air, the Atlanta Hartfield airport is the main airport and there is a MARTA station at the airport. The Atlanta Amtrak station is a bit of a walk from a MARTA station - let us know if you need a pick-up from Amtrak.
